Bravo- PopRoc Thang

As time goes on it seems we have less of it.

We began shooting this video sometime in the last weeks of December, and it just now on March 22nd has surfaced to completion, thankfully. This is my good friend Bravo, one of the very few artist who I back with my support and artwork. Initially I wanted to practice some of what I learned on my last few sets, so I asked him for one of the shortest songs he had and PopRoc Thang was it. We set out to shoot at night time back in December and we ended up out on the streets of Baltimore for about 5 hours. Some in an alleyway and some under a bridge. A good percentage of the footage from those scenes became corrupted so we made plans for one more day of shooting which took place in the Dundalk area near an abandoned warehouse.

Time is of the essence, using it wisely is key.

This is my second music video, I hope I can continue to challenge myself so I wont get comfortable. This isn’t what I consider GREAT work at ALL, as I like to set my standards high. I would have liked to cut some of scenes better and maybe even had less cuts or maybe even some more, I understand that I am my worst critic but thinking that I did a great job wont get anywhere. As I continue on thanks to Bravo, RonRoc, Blanco, Paso Fino, and Kap2ure Photography for helping the shoot become possible, and thanks to Dewin Handtalk for his support and the facilities and resources that made the editing and the coloring possible.

Yesenia’s Sweet 16

Its amazing what positive energy and a good attitude can do to the outcome of a project. I met Katie from Kap2ure Photography through a friend and we managed to have a few chats on Facebook before we actually met. I was working a busy shift at HandTalk Barbershop for awhile so every shoot I was invited to I couldn’t attend, until life happened and Katie contacted me once more at the perfect time. I wasn’t given much detail to this shoot so most of it was on the run since we all know its hard to maintain steady time on events like these. Everything was very fast paced and I only had the opportunity to shoot things once so this is the end product. I know we all have room for improvements but I’m satisfied with the content even as a newbie into the world of Videography because of how much time I dedicated into making it come to life. For your viewing pleasure here is the beautiful Yesenia on her 16th birthday.

Since then me and Katie have worked on many shoots together and I am happy to have someone as dedicated on my side.

Fat Joe feat. Chris Brown- Another Round

I do not support fakery. I do not support the production of it. I do not support invalid unproductive shortcuts. I do not support many things. What I do support is true art no matter what form.

Children Matter

Very touching and very true, our latest generation seems to have forgotten to tell the generation after- that they are the future.

All We Need

I love black and white, there’s something about it that intrigues me.

Today My Personal Facebook Account Will Be Shutdown

As we continue on, as we grow and become different human beings, change becomes inevitable. Tonight I close my personal Facebook account to commemorate new change in my life and my surroundings.

“If my circumstances dont change then I will”

I used to say. Today it becomes true. If you ask me why- my response will be about how it takes so much of our precious time away. Posting daily, expecting likes and comments, Reading peoples lives which make mine less productive and a lot of other personal reasons for why I will not be using my personal profile anymore. I will still post my photography on www.facebook.com/thestorynevaends

I know I am not the only person feeling this way. If you have a business use it for business purposes, but on another note I would like to see how many people wish me a Happy Birthday without a Facebook.
